In its long-standing existence, the Public Institution Gymnasium Živinice has educated and nurtured a large number of students. The day of the coronation of King Tvrtko I Kotromanić on October 26, 1377, in the village of Mile near Visoko was commemorated today with a series of activities at our school. This significant date in Bosnian history was marked through various events in our school.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the death of the national hero Nesib Malkić, our school participated in marking a series of commemorative events. Flowers were laid today at the memorial for fallen soldiers of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, paying tribute with the recitation of Fatiha and a minute of silence. The second-grade students, accompanied by the school director Jasna Srabović and history teacher Edina Srabović, laid flowers at the memorial site of fallen fighters and the bust of national hero Nesib Malkić.
